“Almost Famous” [written and produced by Gino Black] is a slow riding scorcher! It is an ode to American pop culture’s obsession with celebrity, fame and fortune. The tempo is slow; yet the velocity and pulse of the drums are invigoratingly alive. The track is laced with melodic piano elements; which assists in making this a beautiful multi-layered composition. What will surely become memorable and highly infectious, is the chorus; which features the unrelenting wail of a psychedelic guitar solo raging forth. “Almost Famous” doesn’t let up! This perfect storm of production will ensure this song an anthem of the common man’s duality.
